Over the last 8 years Flora Fairbairn Projects (FFP) has been able to leverage an unrivalled and growing network of experts, consultants, investors, collectors, artists and curators specifically to deliver engaging and often cutting-edge events. FFP challenges contemporary thinking within the art world whilst generating brand equity and awareness for sponsors in many aspects of popular culture through association with artists from different parts of the world. FFP uses the contemporary arts as a vehicle to drive awareness for a whole range of issues whether in the not-for-profit sector or to bring emerging artists to centre stage.
A background in architecture and the built environment has provided us with experience, which enables us to put on projects in often disused, non-gallery spaces and buildings, transforming them into one-off, exhibition spaces within unique locations. At the same time this formula blurs boundaries between art and architecture.
The Business specializes in producing art exhibitions and installations, as well as providing creative management and consultancy. The wide range of people and organisations we have worked with, ranging from artists, art collectors, architects, property developers, charities, businesses, public and private art institutions, galleries, art fairs, festival organisers, start-up creative businesses and PR agencies, has provided us with a wide network of contacts.
FFP can be hired to oversee creative projects from start to finish as well as just to advise on certain, sometimes one-off elements of existing projects.
We have been launching and providing a platform for all types of artists working in every medium from video, sound, music and performance to sculpture, installation, painting and photography. We have become most known for discovering and providing a platform for emerging/lesser known artists.
Flora Fairbairn has recently joined Josh Lilley Gallery as an Associate Director.
