Flora Fairbairn has also curated a wide range of exhibitions over the last 12 years from Metro-Land, a group show of works by 54 artists installed in a barn in Oxfordshire and Salon 2007: New British painting and works on paper (an exhibition of 50 UK-based artists) to Anticipation (an exhibition of the best 25 recent graduates) as well as a range of solo exhibitions of artists such as Benedetto Pietromarchi, Jason Shulman, Rachel Kneebone, Annie Kevans, Nancy Fouts and Iain McKell.
Other projects include co-curating the art for CONCRETE & GLASS in 2008 and 2010, co-curated with Paul Hitchman and Tom Baker. Past projects include Avatar of Sacred Discontent, a group show of 30 artists that previewed at Port Eliot Literary Festival and later toured to the London; Dunkelheit, a group show held in the crypt of Kings Cross St Pancras and Carrozza, a solo show of works by Benedetto Pietromarchi.
Other projects include Young Masters (and exhibition of 25 artists who’s work was inspired by the Old Masters); We love to kill what we love- a site-specific show of 15 artists held in an abandoned abattoir in Clerkenwell co-curated with Measure ; Mementoes and other curiosities- a group show of 17 artists held in the Farmiloes Building as part of the London Architecture Biennale and Art Fortnight London also co-curated with Measure as well as and exhibition of work by 10 artists at the top of the Trellick Tower, the Arno Goldfinger-designed building in West London.
