Flora Fairbairn has also curated a wide range of exhibitions over the last 10 years from Metro-Land, a group show of works by 54 artists installed in a barn in Oxfordshire and Salon 2007: New British painting and works on paper(an exhibition of 50 UK-based artists) to Anticipation (an exhibition of the best 25 recent graduates) as well as a range of solo shows of artists such as Benedetto Pietromarchi, Jason Shulman, Rachel Kneebone and Annie Kevans.

Recent projects include Heart of Glass, the central show in the inaugural year of CONCRETE & GLASS music and art festival, co-curated by Paul Hitchman and taking place again this year in Hoxton. Past projects include Avatar of Sacred Discontent, a group show of 30 artists that previewed at Port Eliot Literary Festival and toured to the London in September 2007; Dunkelheit, a group show held in the crypt of Kings Cross St Pancras and Carrozza, a solo show of works by Benedetto Pietromarchi.

Other projects include Young Masters (June 2005); We love to kill what we love- a site-specific show of 15 artists held in an abandoned abattoir in Clerkenwell (June 2004) co-curated with Measure (www.measure-arts.org); Mementoes and other curiosities- a group show of 17 artists held in the Farmiloes Building as part of the London Architecture Biennale; Art Fortnight London (June 2004) also co-curated with Measure and Trellick Tower, a group show held at the top of Arno Goldfinger’s Trellick Tower in 2001.

Flora is particularly interested in promoting and launching undiscovered artists and in May 2007 she produced Anticipation, an exhibition of 25 of the best recent graduates (selected from over one thousand) from London art schools with 100% of the profits from the show going direct to the artists.
